How does IP mirroring work?
The mobile network does not allow mobile devices to communicate directly among one another via their IP addresses. Therefore, we need to take a little detour here: We store a mirrored IP address in our M-CCP and thus enable the M2M communication for each mobile device, to which a private IP address is assigned. As soon as one device tries to reach another, our M-CCP translates the IP address and forwards it to the desired recipient via the mirrored IP.

What can I use the SIM cards for?
The global SIM card is a pure data card and cannot be used to send SMS messages or make telephone calls.

How do I load prepaid?
Just speak to us if you would like to switch from prepaid within a fixed-term contract.
Even if you just wish to change a tariff, you can contact us at any time.

How long does it take to activate the SIM?
Your SIM card will be activated within three days.

Why is the code on the remittance slip so important?
We are able to clearly assign transfers to your customer account and the booked tariff using the code.

Do I need a trade register excerpt or any ID for authentication?
We require a trade register excerpt from tradespersons and a copy of personal ID from private customers for clear authentication.

Why do I have to specify a VAT ID?
The VAT identification number is required so that companies can conduct business within the EU exempt of VAT.

Which general conditions apply for the prepaid volumes?
The minimum charge for Prepaid M2M from MarcanT is €50.

In which networks can I roam with the SIM?
The Global SIM by MarcanT can be used for roaming in any mobile network within the 27 EU states plus the USA and Canada.

To what extent can M2M projects be realized worldwide?
JYou can successfully realize your M2M projects even in far-flung locations with MarcanT. The prerequisite is an optimal mobile connection, which can be established via GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, LTE and CDMA. How is my company's data protected in M2M communication?
MarcanT has their very own, multi-redundant connected computer centres. We use state-of-the-art firewalls and various backup concepts and protect your data against external attacks at all times! We are also subject to the German Telemedia Act (TMG) as a carrier.
